Greetings! This is the Mount Holly Arts Crawl page. We are Arts Mount Holly, a team of enthusiastic individuals who are committed to endorsing and assisting local artists. We have initiated and continue to support the growth of the Mount Holly Art & Business Crawl, an annual event that highlights and unifies our local art industry. Our purpose is to facilitate local patronage, increase awareness, and enable art purchasing opportunities by dedicating a day to showcase our community's art-related talent and potential.

The Arts Mount Holly Art & Business Crawl is a beloved event in the local community that celebrates the creativity and talent of local artists. This exciting event features open gallery and studio tours, art demonstrations, and the chance to purchase beautiful art from a variety of venues, including Awaken Gallery, The Studios @ 107 West, Arts on the Greenway, and Create-In-Us Studios. With a range of artistic styles and mediums represented, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the Arts Mount Holly Art & Business Crawl. As a visitor, you'll have the opportunity to meet the artists, learn more about their creative process, and purchase unique pieces to add to your collection. We are thrilled to announce that the 2024 Mount Holly Arts & Business Crawl is just around the corner! This highly-anticipated event is one of our two main annual Arts Mount Holly events and promises to be a celebratory day filled with art, culture, and economic growth. We invite all local artists and community businesses to join us in this special event that showcases the very best of our beloved city. Bring your family and friends to explore our picturesque downtown, indulge in delicious local cuisine, and discover the incredible art and businesses that make our city so unique. 2024 Event Overview & Juried Art Show Registration!
Art & Business Crawl 2024:
Participating Businesses Information:
We invite all of our downtown businesses to participate in the crawl and appreciate their collaboration with us to actualize this incredible showcase of and for our beloved Mount Holly community.
For this year’s event, we ask each participating business to host 1-3 local artists for the crawl portion of this special event. Artists will be at business site locations from 10 am to 2 pm to display and sell work and perform scheduled art demonstrations. We ask businesses to help cross-pollinate promotion efforts for the event with us and use social media and other marketing channels to spread the word about this event and the artists they are hosting. In turn, we ask businesses to provide us with a brief highlight about themselves and their contact information so that we, too, can promote them and their organizations, contributing to our goal of showcasing our local entrepreneurial and artistic community capacity!
We will provide each business with event flyers with a QR code, a physical event listing, and a map. The businesses will then be asked to provide participants with these resources on the event day to help them navigate the art crawl & juried art show event portions.

Buzzing Blooms: A Celebration of Flora and the Vital Role of Pollinators
This juried art competition invites artists to delve into the captivating world of flora while highlighting the indispensable relationship between plants and pollinators, particularly bees. From intricate depictions of bees collecting nectar to mesmerizing portrayals of vibrant flowers in bloom, "Buzzing Blooms" seeks to honor the interconnectedness of these essential elements of the natural world. Artists are encouraged to explore themes of symbiosis, biodiversity, and the delicate balance of ecosystems, offering a visual ode to the beauty and significance of pollination in sustaining life on Earth.
Juried Art Show:
The Juried Art Show portion of the event will be open for submissions from artists participating in the crawl and those who want to submit creations for another section of the Juried Art Show. Awards will be given to the top selected artist submissions across categories. All participating artists will need to register via our Eventbrite link to participate in this segment of the event.
This segment of the day will begin at 2:30 PM and go until 4:00 pm. It will be at the Grand Hall of our Mount Holly Municipal Complex. Light refreshments will be offered, and we highly encourage community members and patrons to attend this segment of the event! It truly showcases local artistic talent and is a wonderful networking and community-building opportunity.
