Tuckaseege Park
165 Broome St [View Map]
Parking: Parking entrance off Tuckaseege Rd. Pass dog park and ball fields on right. Go straight to parking lots.
Notes: Pollinator Garden and short walk to river views to right. Trailhead to the new Greenway and river views to the left.

Downtown Mount Holly

Parking: Parallel parking along Main St and Central. Public Lot behind the buildings at the corner of Hwy 27 and Main St.

Farmer's Market
(SATURDAY MORNING ONLY)

Parking: Behind the market – enter off Glendale.

Mountain Island Dam
304 Mountain Island Rd [View Map]
Parking: Parking lot at base of the Hydroelectric Plant Dam.
Notes: Isolated area – may not wish to come alone. Dam views to left. Trailhead at far end of lot.

Oakleigh Estate
N Main St (MUST ENTER FROM CEDAR LANE)
Parking: May park at First United Methodist and walk onto property. By car, enter from backyard driveway off Cedar Lane at signs placed by the event. Don’t drive past curve in drive or by house. Do not enter or exit from the front.

Railroad Depot
530 E Central Ave [View Map]
Parking & Notes: Landowner prohibits use of their parking lot or painting setup on their property – set up in public location in view of the depot.

Redlair Preserve
Not generally open to the public, Redlair is one of the area’s largest conserved pieces of property with numerous opportunities to paint woodlands, meadows, etc. Home to the rare bigleaf magnolias and Schweinitz’s sunflowers. Call Haywood Rankin at 704-827-2522 to confirm time and get address/directions.

Tailrace Marina

St. Joseph's Cemetery
Parking: Take North Main St/273 out of town. Church on the left. Strict parking instructions. Take a left into the drive after the church and an immediate left into the parking lot outside cemetery wall. DO NOT turn down the street and enter at the church. That’s private property with NO Trespassing.
