Laura Sexton is a self-taught artist who teaches high school Spanish full time. She rediscovered her connection to art through classes with her young daughter and went on to paint and keep experimenting ever after. She has explored her media through her residencies at Immersive Van Gogh in Charlotte and at Confluence in Cramerton, NC. Her paintings have been featured in galleries from Indiana to Chicago to Georgia, and her upcycled art installations have been featured at Bliss Gallery and as part of Charlotte International Arts Festival and Charlotte SHOUT!
