I grew up in West Virginia, and moved to the Charlotte area in 2002 after graduating in Communication Studies and Economics from Virginia Tech. My family moved to Mount Holly and we fell in love with the quaintness of our wonderful town here! Though I do art as a hobby, I am also the Owner and Broker in Charge of Mountain Island Lake Realty here on N. Main Street as my full time work. I have been somewhat of an artist since I was a child. I was never good at the sciences or mathematics, but I was able to draw a nice picture and found myself to be a good communicator. Thus, I turned more toward the arts. I focus mainly on acrylic painting and photography, though I will admit I have never had an art class in my life short of elementary school. Much of my photography is from around the world in countries and locations that I have been fortunate enough to visit. My acrylic on canvas work has been accumulating slowly over the years, as I only paint when I am inspired by something. I hope you enjoy my work. My main goal is to be able to share my art with others who will appreciate and enjoy it!
